If you’re a high school student considering a career in nursing, you won’t want to miss this unique opportunity hosted by Southeast Missouri Hospital in partnership with the Southeast Missouri Hospital College of Nursing & Health Sciences and the Southeast Missouri Hospital Foundation. Nursing Camp is designed to address the region’s growing need for nurses and the many career opportunities this vital profession offers.

The Camp program combines the excitement of being a part of the Southeast nursing team with group instruction, ethics discussions, fitness and wellness activities and fun social events.

Dates: June 8 - 12, 2008 (Sunday evening through Thursday dinner)

Location: Southeast Missouri Hospital’s main campus, and various clinical sites.

Tuition: $275. Includes all meals, instructional materials, specially-designed t-shirts and transportation to all hospital clinicals and recreation events. Four nights lodging in a Southeast Missouri State University dormitory is included at no additional cost. Tuition due upon acceptance.

Scholarships: A limited number of full or partial scholarships are available for this outstanding educational opportunity. You may also seek sponsorship in your community.
