Presented by Yvonne Menke-Harris, CTRS
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist with the
Psychiatric Unit at Southeast Missouri Hospital

Learning how to manage your anger effectively can
improve your overall health, make you feel better
about yourself & improve personal relationships.

Anger is a completely normal, usually healthy, human emotion, but when it gets out of control and turns destructive, it can lead to problems – at work, in your personal relationships, and in the overall quality of your life.

You cannot get rid of, or avoid the things that enrage you, nor can you change them, but you can learn to control your reactions. The speaker will identify frequent triggers of anger, discuss the harmful effects of poorly managed anger, and explore positive, healthy ways to handle anger.

Come learn how to manage your anger rather than let it manage you.
